Colic

Our baby yoga classes generally run for six week terms.
In each class we enjoy wonderful loving touches, containment holds, infant massage,
gentle swings and dips and a really soothing introduction to songs,
rhymes, chants and exploration. As baby grows so do our portfolio
of stretches as we enjoy postures reminiscent of: Prayer Position, Guppi,
Cobra, Plough, Bridge and Fish to name but a few (of
course they may need a little help along the way).
A typical class will take you
through a 'body aware' (massage based) warm up, lower body postures to
help with digestion and hip mobility, upper body postures to help baby
uncurl, a sensory segment to encourage visual and auditory development
, brain gym to wire the hemispheres of the brain and of course our renowned swings, dips and circle time. Our
babies love the social interaction they get from routines such as 'Round
and Round the Haystack' and parachute time.
The sensory relaxation is always a
favourite part of the class and this is enhanced by our unique fibre
optics, projections and light shows.
These classes really are a
great combination of fun, social time and relaxation. Our songs and rhymes
uplift and inspire us. Our 'baby om's' soothe and comfort us.
