Antenatal Yogacise (Relaxation) Antenatal Yogacise (Birthing Ball) Antenatal Yogacise (Birthing Ball 2)
Our crawlers love our colourful equipment... Mum's can enjoy a coffee and even the youngest babies find fun and therapy in our massaging ball pool... Colourful mats make comfortable flooring when teaching our newborn's and a safe surface for rollers, crawlers and walkers... Can you spot the rocking crab? He's a favourite in our six month plus class! Soft play items are an important part of our mobile baby groups encouraging reaching and climbing. The room is set up in this way for mum's club... "We love to make friends whilst practicing our kicking cobras!" (0 to 6 month group) Many mum's agree they have their most restful hour of the week in this class (especially lying tummy down on our bump bags!) A fantastic position for letting go and for encouraging baby to settle anterior i.e. their back to your tummy... Demonstrating use of the ball to help mobilise hips and lower spine... Demonstrating use of birthing ball to stretch upward, aiding digestion and creating space for baby... Your instructor clearly demonstrates both massage and yoga routines on a lifesize baby doll... See how we incorporate simple moves for mum. This helps create a calm body and mind and gives baby lots of movement to watch... Stretching out for a kiss (releasing mum's spine)... Even our tiny babies enjoy gentle rides on mum's pelvis as we work with both pelvic tilts and bridge posture... We often find babies as young as twelve months will begin to mimick. These children are enjoying a Yogabugs session aged 2 plus.
In our Yogabugs story we are being little mice whilst relaxing in a prayer posture... Can you be a tree balancing in the wind? "Namaste" this is how we say goodbye in Yogabugs. In our younger classes we practice the beginnings of this move by clapping our hands... We are all relaxed at the end of class...
Our crawlers love our colourful equipment...
