Lazy Daisy offers unique ‘Om-agination’ Workshops

A three hour inset workshop designed to give teachers inspiration to lead yoga inspired movement, massage and relaxation sessions, built around stories, rhymes and songs.

This workshop will take teachers and teaching assistants through a typical 45 minute class, illustrating posture based exercises, games, routines, massage techniques and breathing/relaxation methods.   

This is an active participation session giving teachers the opportunity to experience a class as a child would;  input and ideas which allow for creative development is welcomed, variations to routines will be explored and time will be allowed for free discussion into potential benefits, contraindications/cautions, the importance of ‘Asking Permission’ and when to obtain individual health questionnaires.  Delegates will be provided with a basic outline for a typical class along with worksheets included a range of massage and movement based exercises, games and rhymes which can be incorporated into a session.

How much does the Inset training cost?

£35 per head (mimimum attendance 5, maximum attendance 10).  50% payable at time of booking and balance within five days of workshop being completed.

NOTE:  This is an information and activity based session designed to inspire and to enhance a teacher’s pre-existing ‘PE skills’; it is not in any way intended to provide teachers with a formal teaching qualification.  All delegates will be provided with a certificate of attendance.
